Abbott Laboratories Cuts 1,900 Jobs in Restructuring of Drug Unit, Reports Lower Net

WSJ -- Abbott Laboratories' said Wednesday it would lay off about 2% of its work force in response to U.S. market pressures, while the health-products maker reported a 6.4% drop in fourth-quarter earnings.
