A*Star -- Local researchers from A*STAR’s Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) and Communicable Disease Centre (CDC) at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) have found three specific biomarkers which provide an accurate indication of the severity of Chikungunya fever (CHIKF). This finding could expedite prognosis and monitoring of patients, as the biomarkers can also be easily detected and measured in blood.
