A new study by medical researchers at the University of Texas suggests that a new type of polygraph test could be on the way, focusing not on how the heart responds to lying and telling the truth but on how the stomach reacts. The results of the study were announced on Monday at the 70th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Gastroenterology, in Honolulu.
