A long-running and high-profile battle between Pfizer and a former executive has ended on an unusually quiet note. After a decade of legal tussling, the drugmaker has settled claims made by Peter Rost, a physician and former marketing vp, who had accused Pfizer of paying kickbacks and off-label marketing. The agreement was approved late last month by a federal appeals court.
