With Palm Beach County leaders poised to decide where to spend more than $550 million in public money for a biotech mecca, one would-be neighbor is offering 100 free acres for a multiuniversity campus next door.The offer comes from rancher Charles Vavrus, who would like to develop 1,700 acres alongside the property initially picked for the biotech park -- Mecca Farms.
