OAKLAND, Calif., June 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements, World Heart Corporation (WorldHeart) today announced that its 2006 annual and special meeting of shareholders will take place after June 30, 2006. The Company’s Board of Directors will designate a date for the meeting and provide normal notice to shareholders in advance of the meeting. The Company’s last annual and special meeting took place on July 18, 2005.
