Wex Pharmaceuticals appoints Wang as president, CEO

WEX NAMES NEW CEO AND STRENGTHENS MANAGEMENT TEAM
Dr. Edge Wang has been named president and chief executive officer of Wex Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Dr. Wang was elected as a member of the board of directors of the company in August, 2005, and became the interim CEO shortly afterward.
"Our primary goal is to complete our clinical trials on Tectin and to commercialize this product in the most expeditious manner," said Dr. Wang. "We will also concentrate on increasing Wex's pipeline. I am determined to build a strong team to grow Wex into a global leader in pain management."
