DUBLIN, Ireland, Aug. 26, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Warner Chilcott plc (Nasdaq:WCRX) today announced that Anthony Bruno, the Company's Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, will retire at the end of this year. Mr. Bruno joined the Company in March 2001 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel after spending 17 years with Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer Inc.). Mr. Bruno was promoted to Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, in April 2003 and continued to serve as General Counsel until July 2005. During his tenure at the Company, Mr. Bruno directed a number of important business development transactions, including the Company's acquisition of the global branded pharmaceuticals business of The Procter & Gamble Company ("P&G") in 2009. During his remaining time with the Company, Mr. Bruno will assist with transitional matters.
