Wake Forest University and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center are working to raise and invest $1 billion between them over the next five years. The campaign, dubbed “Wake Will: The Campaign for Wake Forest,” represents the largest mobilization of financial support for the university and its mission in its 179-year-history, according to school officials. The university plans to invest $600 million in student, faculty and enhancements to campus life, and has raised about $315 million towards that goal so far.
