FORT WASHINGTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vitae Pharmaceuticals today announced Jeffrey Hatfield, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), effective immediately. During his 2011-2012 tenure on the BIO Board, Mr. Hatfield will initially serve on two Governing Committees: the Intellectual Property committee and the Emerging Company Section Capital Formation committee.
