The new reusable GlideScope(R) GVL(R) 5 intended for larger patients, offers a longer reach and unique shape, to aid in intubation of those adult patients with anatomical anomalies associated with a body mass index above 25. The GVL(R) 5 provides a clear, real-time view of the patient's airway, enabling quick intubation in the operating room (OR), the emergency department (ED) and the intensive care unit (ICU).

The reusable GlideScope(R) system consists of: a non-glare color monitor, a choice of one of four sizes of a GVL(R) which houses a high-resolution camera with an anti-fogging mechanism to resist lens contamination, and an optional mobile stand, IV pole mount or hard shell case.
