Use of Preoperative CT Leads to Lower Incidence of Stroke in Reoperative Cardiac Surgery: Presented at ACS

Doctor’s Guide -- WASHINGTON, DC -- October 8, 2010 -- Use of computed tomography (CT) scans prior to reoperation in cardiac patients who have previously undergone sternotomy reduces stroke and renal failure, according to a study presented here at the 96th Annual Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
