This Advisory Board was established to support UBC in its ongoing efforts to improve data quality and outcomes in CNS trials that rely on subjective measurements as pivotal endpoints, such as those in psychiatry, neurology and pain. Recommendations of this Board will be integrated into UBC’s customized training and validated assessment programs targeting investigators and study personnel.

Specifically, the European Advisory Board will collaborate with UBC in researching the latest methodologies in rater-training, inter-rater reliability assessments and clinician-rated scales, with a focus on enhancing scoring ability, interviewing competency and diagnostic skills for both investigators and other clinicians supporting clinical trials.
The Advisory Board will be led by Oto Markovic, MD, Regional Manager of UBC’s European Regional Headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic. Joining Dr. Markovic on the Board will be six leading experts in the fields of CNS, psychiatry and neurology:
