Oxford-based start-up Ultromics has announced the appointment of Amir Hasan as Chief Commercial Officer. Amir previously worked as Global Head of Cardiology Informatics at Philips.
16th October, Oxford, U.K., Oxford-based start-up Ultromics has announced the appointment of Amir Hasan as Chief Commercial Officer. Amir previously worked as Global Head of Cardiology Informatics at Philips. He joins the company after 19 years with Philips working in the UK, Netherlands, Silicon Valley and China. His immense experience – spanning from Business Development, Sales, and Marketing to driving next-generation informatics solutions for cardiac care – is the perfect fit for Ultromics.
As Chief Commercial Officer at Ultromics, Amir will report directly to the founder and CEO, Ross Upton. Amir will be responsible for driving the global sales and marketing strategy, as well as developing new business and managing revenue.

Other new appointments include Chief Operations Officer, Nancy Spagou, who is driving the operations strategy and developing the delivery and deployment of Ultromics’ technology in clinical settings.
Ultromics has also seen over 15 new hires over the last 6 months within Product Management, Clinical Project Management, Regulatory and Research.
Ultromics is the start-up behind the world’s first outcomes-driven, AI-based, ultrasound diagnostic tool for coronary artery disease (CAD).
