(NASDAQ:TRMS) today announced worldwide net sales of FUZEON for the second quarter of 2008 were $38.3 million, down 38 percent from $62.0 million in the second quarter of 2007. Net sales of FUZEON in the U.S. and Canada for the second quarter of 2008 were $16.1 million, down 51 percent from $32.9 million in the second quarter of 2007. Net sales of FUZEON outside the U.S. and Canada for the second quarter of 2008 were $22.2 million, down 24 percent from $29.2 million in the second quarter of 2007. All sales of FUZEON are recorded by F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, (“Roche”), Trimeris’ collaborative partner.
