MORRISVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trimeris, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRMS) today announced worldwide net sales of FUZEON for the first quarter of 2007 were $64.3 million, an increase of 16 percent from $55.4 million in the first quarter of 2006. Net sales of FUZEON in the U.S. and Canada for the first quarter of 2007 were $29.3 million, up 7 percent from $27.4 million in the first quarter of 2006. Net sales of FUZEON outside the U.S. and Canada for the first quarter of 2007 were $35.0 million, an increase of 25 percent from $28.0 million in the first quarter of 2006. All sales of FUZEON are recorded by F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, (“Roche”), Trimeris’ collaborative partner.
