DOVER, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TissueLink Medical Inc., a privately held medical device company, announced today the appointment of Richard M. Altieri as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective September 3, 2007.
Prior to joining TissueLink, Mr. Altieri had been Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Straumann USA, a global leader in the field of implant dentistry and dental tissue regeneration. Previously, Mr. Altieri was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mitek Surgical Products, Inc., where he played a key role in the sale of the company to Johnson & Johnson. As part of the J&J family he was instrumental in Mitek’s subsequent growth into a leader in the field of surgical sports medicine. Mr. Altieri is a CPA and earned his BS degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
