Examiner -- I firmly believe in the power of an informational interview. Since the beginning of my college experience, I have done more than a dozen informational interviews with experienced professionals in my field of study. In the early days, information online was pretty scarce, and it was tough to find someone in my field. However, the people I did get in contact with were usually thrilled to have someone interested in them and their career progression. I think informational interviews are excellent tools not only for students and job seekers, but also for young professionals plotting the course for the rest of their career.
