PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Medicines Company (NASDAQ: MDCO) today announced its financial results for the first quarter 2007. The Company reported first quarter net revenue of $66.6 million. Fully diluted earnings per share (EPS) as reported under U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) were $0.06, which includes stock based compensation expense and a provision for income taxes, a portion of which will be offset by available net operating loss (NOL) carryforwards. Excluding the stock based compensation expense, the Company reported fully diluted non-GAAP EPS of $0.12. Excluding both the stock based compensation expense and the portion of the tax provision that will be offset by available NOL carryforwards, the Company reported fully diluted non-GAAP EPS of $0.15.
