Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited Awarded Tax Credit for Proposed $73 Million Research Facility in N.J., May Add 215 New Jobs

The Israeli drug maker Teva would receive a $15 million tax credit if it builds a new research and development facility in Florham Park and creates 215 new jobs in the state, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority board voted today at its monthly meeting. Teva, the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical company, is also considering Bucks County, Pa., for the $73 million, 140,000-square-foot project. Its North American headquarters are outside Philadelphia in Montgomery County, Pa.
