Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (Jobs) Says Yanai To Become President, CEO On March 1

JERUSALEM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Further to the company’s announcement of October 18, 2006, Mr. Shlomo Yanai will assume the role of President & Chief Executive Officer of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. on March 1, 2007. Mr. Shlomo Yanai will succeed Mr. Israel Makov who served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the past five years.

For the past few months, Mr. Yanai has been studying the company as part of the CEO transition process with the outgoing President & CEO, Mr. Israel Makov. Mr. Yanai met with management teams and employees of the group’s manufacturing and marketing sites in North America, Europe, Latin America and Israel.
