Bowman has joined the Company as its Vice President, Marketing. In this capacity, Ms. Bowman will be responsible for governing the strategic and tactical implementation of both the over-the-counter (OTC) or retail-oriented programs, as well as the point-of-care (POC) or professional marketing efforts for all products across the developing Synova portfolio.
Ms. Bowman, who holds a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, joins Synova with over 15 years of consumer packaged goods and services marketing management experience, which has included products that were promoted to both consumers and physicians. Most recently, Ms. Bowman served as a consultant for companies like GlaxoSmithKline where she was involved with the marketing of Commit(R) in the Nicotine Replacement Therapy category. She has also made contributions on the feminine hygiene brand Instead(R). Throughout her career, Ms. Bowman gained extensive experience through progressive marketing roles at the H.J. Heinz Company, SmithKline Beecham and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, and has managed a number of high profile Health and Beauty Care brands including AquaFresh(R) toothpaste, Massengill(R) feminine hygiene and Maalox(R) antacid.
