Tampa, Fla.-based SynDaver Labs announced today that it is expanding to Phoenix with plans to hire between 500 and 1,000 people within the next three years. The company makes synthetic human tissues and body parts. Its synthetic human actually bleeds and breathes, technology that is used to replace live animals, cadavers and human patients in clinical training, surgical simulation and medical device studies. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton attended today’s announcement at the UA medical school on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix.
