For the three months ended September 30, 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $667,441, or $0.05 per share, compared with a net loss of $663,043, or $0.07 per share, in the prior year. For the nine months ended September 30, 2007, the Company reported a net loss of $3,138,065, or $0.25 per share, compared with a net loss of $1,857,584, or $0.23 per share, in the prior year. The increased losses for such periods resulted primarily from increased clinical development expenses related to the ongoing clinical trials of IoGen™.
