(Nasdaq: SDIX) - a leading provider of biotechnology-based detection solutions for a broad range of food, water, agricultural, industrial, environmental and scientific applications, today reported financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. Revenues for the quarter increased 8% to $7.2 million, compared to $6.6 million for the same period in 2007. Revenues for the first quarter of 2008 were positively impacted by a 36% year-over-year increase in sales of food pathogen products and a 15% year-over-year increase in sales of antibody products.
