The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) invites you to participate in the Colorado Walk4Hearing on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Clement Park in Littleton.
Since 2006, the HLAA Walk4Hearing has raised in excess of $13 million and welcomed more than 90,000 walkers, making it the nation’s largest program of its kind in the country. Funds raised support both local and national programs and services for people with hearing loss, including installation of hearing assistive technology in public places, local financial assistance programs for hearing aids and hearing assistive technologies for those that can’t afford them, and advocacy efforts on federal and state levels.
This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of getting your hearing screened (#screenURhearing). Untreated hearing loss impacts overall health with an increased risk of falls, isolation, anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline.
Walk4Hearing sponsors are integral to the success of the program. Representatives from local and national Walk4Hearing sponsors are present on Walk day to discuss how they can help you live well with hearing loss. HLAA would like to thank the following companies that have stepped up as the 2018 national Walk4Hearing sponsors:
