GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Span-America Medical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPAN) today reported a 35% increase in net sales to $16.5 million and an 85% increase in net income to $1.2 million, or $0.42 per diluted share, for the second quarter ended March 31, 2007, compared with the second quarter of fiscal 2006.
