TROY, Mich., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Somanetics Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTS - News) today reported record net revenues of $7.9 million for the third quarter ended August 31, 2006, a 50 percent increase from $5.2 million in the same period of 2005. For the nine months ended August 31, 2006, net revenues increased 46 percent to $21.0 million from $14.4 million in the same period last year.
