Everett, WA – October 31, 2012 – SNBL USA, the experts in primate research, will display its innovative procedure cage at the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) National Meeting November 4-8 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Vice President of Business Development Mark Crane said that the procedure cage will become the new standard of care in nonhuman primate research.

“The use of the procedure cage reduces the level and duration of stress the animal undergoes during routine procedures and provides better data for our clients’ preclinical studies,” Crane said. “In addition, the data shows great improvement in the efficiency of the technician’s time used to perform routine and complex procedures.”
Currently, the procedure cage is being used in a variety of testing scenarios. The results of the initial testing, along with demonstrations of the cage itself, will be available in booth #525 and at Carter2 Systems’ booth, #1641.
