CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Siemens Medical Solutions today announced it has received 510(k) approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the first of many syngo® Dual Energy applications for the SOMATOM® Definition – the world’s first and only dual source computed tomography (DSCT) system. The announcement was made at the 92nd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), at which Siemens Medical Solutions is exhibiting in booth #4129 from Nov. 26 to Dec. 1.
