Senetek PLC Files Form 12b-25

NAPA, Calif., May 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Senetek PLC , a life sciences product development company targeting the science of aging, today announced that it filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission in order to extend the due date of its First Quarter 2007 Report on Form 10-Q for five days, as permitted by Rule 12b-25 under the Securities Exchange Act. In its filing the Company has advised that it is not possible without unreasonable effort and expense to file its Quarterly Report by May 15, 2007 because the Company is finalizing income tax related matters stemming from a business transaction, specifically the monetization agreement with Valeant Pharmaceuticals Inc. The Company will file its Quarterly Report on or before the expiration of the five-day extension period.
