Seattle Biotechs Still Hurting From Election Season “Witch Hunt”

Seattle biotechs still haven’t recovered from election season criticism of soaring drug prices, but things may improve after November elections.

Since last summer, a string of politicians — from Congress to the White House to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton — has threatened to rein in soaring drug prices. Clinton in August called on drug-maker Mylan to slash the price of its popular allergy medication.
