French drugmaker Sanofi-Synthelabo (SASY.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday a syndicate of banks had agreed to participate in a 12-billion euro ($14.70 billion) loan tied to its takeover bid for rival Aventis (AVEP.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) .
