Shanghai Sankyo Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., the Chinese subsidiary of Sankyo Co., Ltd. of the Daiichi Sankyo Company, will start selling Olmetec - generic name: olmesartan medoxomil - an antihypertensive agent in July. Sankyo acquired manufacturing approval for the drug in April 2006.
