Dr. Iklé is the principal investigator (PI) for the statistical and clinical coordinating center (SACCC) for both the Clinical Trials in Organ Transplantation (CTOT) and Clinical Trials in Organ Transplantation in Children (CTOT-C) programs. The CTOT program is sponsored by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) with co-funding from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
