Puma Biotechnology Presents Positive PB272 Clinical Data at American Society of Clinical Oncology 2012 Annual Meeting

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Puma Biotechnology, Inc. (OTCBB: PBYI), a development stage biopharmaceutical company, announced that results from an ongoing Phase I clinical trial of its lead drug candidate PB272 (neratinib) given in combination with the anticancer drugs paclitaxel and trastuzumab in patients with metastatic HER-2 positive breast cancer were presented in a poster presentation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2012 Annual Meeting. This trial was sponsored by the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), a clinical trials cooperative group supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
