Tech Journal South -- Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc., a contract research organization based in Wilmington, NC, has terminated its leases with the NC Research Campus in Kannapolis, citing slow development of the site, according to the Salisbury Post. PPD had planed to create up to 300 jobs on the campus over three years.
