Madison, Wis. - Platypus Technologies, a provider of nanotechnology-based products for the biotechnology industry, has announced the appointment of University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate and former Promega Corp. executive Jeff Williams as chief executive officer. Prior to joining Platypus, Williams served as senior vice president and was in charge of product development at Asuragen, an oncology molecular diagnostic company based in Austin, Texas.
