State and local governments have approved $18.4 million in economic incentives for Pfizer Inc. to hire 450 workers at a Terre Haute plant that’s producing the world’s first inhaled insulin. Announcement of the economic development deal came today during a visit to the plant by Gov. Mitch Daniels.
