BOSTON, June 13 (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc.'s (PFE.N: Quote, Profile, Research) antifungus drug Eraxis appears to be at least as good as injections of generic fluconazole for fighting invasive candidiasis, a potentially fatal blood infection seen in people whose immune systems have been hobbled, researchers said on Wednesday.
