MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orthovita, Inc. (NASDAQ: VITA), an orthobiologics and biosurgery company, reported financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. Product sales for the second quarter of 2010 were $23.9 million compared to $24.5 million for the second quarter of 2009. Product sales for the second quarter of 2009 included $0.6 million from the sale of Vitomatrix™, a bone graft material used in dental products. There were no Vitomatrix sales in the second quarter of 2010 and no further sales of Vitomatrix are currently expected.
