July 26, 2012 -- OR Technology offers a new CR imaging plate system which is suited both for private practices as well as hospitals. The compact system combines many benefits: Its design facilitates conversion to a new digital system even for small practices. Its cost-effectiveness has proven particularly advantageous in many respects for all target groups. On the one hand the overall purchase price is currently the lowest on the global market, and on the other hand the system can easily be programmed to a higher cassette frequency (up to 70 per hour) as the patient volume increases. This obviates the expense of changing units. Compared to conventional CR systems, imaging plate cassettes are more durable due to a new technology that allows cassettes to be read without having to be handled manually.
“The Divario CR-F system is characterised by acquisition software that is set specifically to the unit”, says Bernd Oehm, the general manager of OR Technology. “One of the particular features of the software developed in Germany is specific visual noise suppression. Complex sharpness algorithms provide the user with a high image quality.” The software is complemented by the integrated multimedia X-ray positioning guide which demonstrates the correct positions and adjustment techniques by means of videos, photos and example images. The user interface may be expanded to include any language.
The Divario CR-F system is particularly flexible and easy to use: It may be used as a compact stationary table system or as a portable unit. As a space-saving alternative it may also be wall-mounted. To ensure prompt and dedicated service, installation and maintenance will be provided directly via OR Technology. Since its introduction on the market a few weeks ago, the Divario CR-F has found great support and is already being used on all continents.
