NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New York Biotechnology Association (NYBA), the voice of New York State’s biotechnology industry, today announced that the NYBA 18th Annual Meeting, April 20-21, 2009, will have a special focus on partnering between emerging biotech companies and large bio and pharma corporations. Highlights of the Annual Meeting will include a keynote address by Billy Tauzin, CEO of PhRMA (Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association) on Monday, April 20, and an important plenary roundtable featuring senior licensing and business development executives from Merck, Pfizer and other major companies on Tuesday, April 21. The NYBA 18th Annual Meeting will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
