Golden Pine Ventures, a newly formed venture capital firm in RTP is setting up shop to try and find promising biotechnology and biomedical companies. The company will be led by Christopher S. Meldrum, who will be managing director of the firm. Meldrum recently left his post as Director of Corporate Alliances at Paradigm Genetics. The Chairman of Golden Pine Ventures is Peter D. Meldrum, and joining him on the Board of Directors are Christopher Meldrum, Dale Stringfellow, John Hamer, and Jim Severson.
