New and advanced diagnostic technology that offers early detection of prostate and lung cancer is being taken into the workplace by Cambridge-based HealthScreen UK. HP (Hewlett Packard) which bought Cambridge technology giant Autonomy in a multi-billion dollar deal late last year, recently took part in a prostate cancer awareness campaign which resulted in 12 cancers being detected. HealthScreen UK already provides private cancer early detection programmes for businesses. Now it has launched new health checks for prostate and lung cancer using the latest advanced diagnostic tools to improve early detection for two of the most common cancers.
