A new antidepressant called duloxetine improved symptoms of fibromyalgia -- a chronic and painful musculoskeletal disorder -- in women but not in men, researchers report.Duloxetine (brand name Cymbalta) was recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat major depression and nerve pain suffered by those with diabetes.
