Pete Ricketts’ declared state of emergency, is available to provide assistance to our members across the state of Nebraska affected by flooding. Nebraska Total Care is helping to ensure that members who may lose, or have been evacuated from, their homes maintain access to essential health care services, prescription medications, critical benefit information, and related services to help them cope with grief, loss, stress, or trauma. Prescription Information During evacuations, medications are often left behind as people flee immediate danger. Affected Nebraska Total Care members can now obtain an emergency supply. Pharmacies have been alerted to automatically process early refill requests. For controlled substances, members may need to speak with the Nebraska Total Care pharmacy department. Help with Coping All Nebraska Total Care members can access needed mental health services without a referral. Members can call Member Services for support and assistance identifying mental health counselors and other local services. Nebraska Total Care’s Nurse Advice Line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist members.
