Xconomy -- Minerva Biotechnologies, a Waltham, MA-based biotech firm that researches cancer, nanotechnology, and stem cells, has raised $4.6 million in equity and rights funding round, according to an SEC filing. Xconony tried this afternoon but was unable to reach Cythia Bamdad, a founder of the firm, to discuss the financing.
