MIT’s No. 1 pick was Illumnia, the San Diego-based gene sequencing company.
Medtronic, the only Minnesota company on the list ( Dublin headquarters aside, we still count it as such because the C-Suite is in Fridley), ranked No. 37, just behind fitness-tracking firm Jawbone.
