Medline Industries, Inc. Names Stephen Burns President of International Division

MUNDELEIN, IL--(Marketwire - September 30, 2009) - Medline announced today that Stephen Burns has been appointed President of its International Division. Burns, 42, has been with Medline for more than 17 years, holding a variety of positions, including most recently Senior Vice President of Long-term Care Sales. He will be responsible for setting marketing and sales strategies for the company’s non-U.S. markets, as well as leading Medline’s International Sales team. Medline currently conducts business in more than 40 countries and has 40 distribution centers worldwide.
